Celebrating peach and cherry blossom time in Japan - Our springtime lecture meeting is being held jointly with Bristol Museum and marks the end of a special display of Hinamatsuri dolls. Hinamatsuri dolls are a key aspect of the Peach Blossom Festival. Two of the Museum’s exquisite doll sets are on display and this event will offer an insight into Japan’s imperial family, courtly dress and aristocratic traditions.
