NW Region – Virtual meeting: Sarah Dixon – Japanese Gardens in Winter

November 14 @ 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Most visitors to Japan go at cherry blossom time, or to see the Autumn colours. I want to persuade you that the ideal time to visit Japan is, in fact, winter.  The gardens are empty of tourists and filled with interest, the tea houses are open and the tea – and floors – are hot. What’s not to like!

Sarah is from the SE Region and tells me that she is addicted to travelling to Japan, where she tries to see the gardens in their wider cultural context but is often distracted by details…. To discover what that means you will need to register for the meetings!
