2010 Cherry Blossom Tour   Our last trip to Japan was between March 31 - April 15th 2010, and we enjoyed the peak of the Cherry Blossom in both Kyoto and Okayama. Our stay was broken down as follows:       • 5 nights in Kyoto       • 6 nights in Okayama       • 3 nights in Kyoto In Kyoto there were visits to well known gardens and temples such as Ryoan-ji, Sambo-in as well as some more out of the tourist way, and some private gardens. Okayama is well placed for access to many gardens by rail and we made the most of a 7 day rail pass to experience the differing landscape, towns and cities as well as the wonderful gardens. As well as Koraku-en (Okayama), our itinerary included the Adachi Museum and Yuushi-en, Shukkei-en (Hiroshima), Ritsurin-koen (Takamatsu on the island of Shikoku), Raikyu-ji (Takahashi).
